Sixteenth Annual Fun FairMarch 24, 2007 Fascinating activities, exhibits and presentations showcasing mathematics and its science and engineering applications all add up to a day of learning. At the fair, families with students of all ages can explore mathematical puzzles and logic games while being introduced to how scientists solve problems. The fun fair provides a hands-on math and science experience and gives young people a chance to see the excitement that a career in science, engineering or mathematics provides. Many U of M departments, IT Centers and student organizations, such as Chemistry Outreach, the Society of Women Engineers, Departments of Bio-based Products, Electrical Engineering, and Neuroscience will have presentations. The fair is free to families registered in ITCEP's Saturday Morning Enrichment Programs. |
Parking is available at the East River Parkway Garage for $5.25 for the entire day.
